The Talent Hub is the first step on the Para Football Pathway.
It gives players the chance to be seen by FA coaches, develop their skills, and be signposted to the right environment to continue their journey — whether that’s local football, regional, or national level.

A: The Exeter City Community Trust Para Football Talent Hub is part of The FA’s national Para Football Pathway. It gives young players with specific impairments the chance to be identified, develop their skills, and be signposted to regional or national programmes — all while continuing to enjoy their local football.
A: The hub is open to players aged 7–16 who are:
Deaf or hard of hearing
Have cerebral palsy (and are ambulant)
Are partially sighted
A: No — you don’t have to be part of a football club to attend. Whether you play for a team, at school, or just enjoy football in your free time, you’re welcome to join.
A: Not at all. The Talent Hub runs alongside any football you already play. It’s designed to support your journey — not replace your existing club or school involvement.
A: The Talent Hub is not a trial and not an ongoing training environment. It’s an opportunity for players to be identified and signposted to the right level within the Para Football Pathway. Sessions are fun, inclusive, and focused on opportunity.
A: Sessions are typically held once a month, giving new and returning players the chance to be re-assessed and kept within the Talent System.
A: Players may be invited to:
Regional Talent Programmes
National development camps, or
Continue playing in their local football environments with ongoing support.
Every player receives feedback and guidance on next steps.
A: No — attending the Para Football Talent Hub is free of charge.

A: Yes, parents and carers are welcome to stay and watch. We aim to make sessions as open and comfortable as possible for everyone.
A: We want every player to feel welcome and supported. Please let us know in advance if you have specific access or communication needs, and our staff will make the necessary arrangements.
