Exciting partnership with Nando’s will support girls’ football

Girls’ football activities delivered by our team at Exeter City Community Trust will benefit from an exciting new partnership with Nando’s.

The popular restaurant brand will support a range of community initiatives, with a particular focus on our female football pathway through our Girls’ Development Centre.

The partnership will provide valuable backing to help grow opportunities for young female players across the region, enabling more girls to access high-quality coaching, develop their skills, and build confidence through sport.

In addition to supporting football development, Nando’s will play an active role in delivering educational sessions to young people and service users engaged with ECCT programmes. These sessions will highlight the company’s ongoing efforts to tackle malaria globally, raising awareness of important international health issues and inspiring young people to think beyond their local communities.

Danny Harris, CEO of Exeter City Community Trust, said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Nando’s on this exciting initiative. Their support will have a significant impact on the growth of our Girls’ Football Development Centre, helping us create more opportunities for young players to thrive. Beyond football, the educational aspect of this partnership brings an added dimension that will really benefit our participants and broaden their understanding of global challenges.”

Diego Ulian, Regional Manager at Nando’s, added: “At Nando’s, we are passionate about giving back to the communities we serve. Partnering with Exeter City Community Trust allows us to support an incredible organisation making a real difference locally. We’re especially proud to contribute to the development of girls’ football and to share the work we do globally to help tackle malaria, engaging young people in meaningful conversations about the world around them.”

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to community development, education, and empowering young people both on and off the pitch.
