Hundreds of runners took to the paths alongside the River Exe as part of the Exeter Live Better Marathon.
Our annual event saw crowds gathered to support the runners along the route and welcome them as they reached the finish line.
Our chief executive, Jamie Vittles, said: “We were really pleased to see such a welcome for the runners, thanks to everyone who has supported this event, from the participants, to our staff and volunteers.
“Thanks and appreciation also to our headline sponsors, Tozers LLP, and event partners, HSBC, Exeter Live Better, Stagecoach SW and Radio Exe – their commitment to our event means we can keep entry fees as affordable as possible.”
The first three male runners were: James Cutlan, Joel Seward and Oliver Jones. The first female runners were Emma Wookey, Catie O’ Donoghue and Pip Riches.
