Archie Collins: This is where my journey began

Exeter City star Archie Collins says he ‘loved’ his time on the Exeter City Community Trust Holiday Clubs when he was younger. 

A 6-year-old Archie Collins was spotted by our coaches for his talent and natural ability, before sending him to the academy to further his development. 

Our Holiday Clubs is a great way make friends throughout the school holidays, while learning new skills as an introduction into football or a progression to take back to your clubs or school teams.

The midfielder, who recently signed a new deal at the club, said: “I loved my time on the Holiday Clubs. 

“When I was younger, all I ever wanted to do was play football – so a week of football and different games was great, I loved it. 

“It’s a great opportunity for the youngsters to take part and get seen, especially with sessions available in Exeter.”
