Following the success of the Devon Football Family Christmas Toy Appeal, Devon County FA are excited to announce their Easter Egg Appeal with support from Scott Richards Solicitors, and we are calling on local residents, football fans, and clubs to donate new, un-opened Easter Eggs during the end of February and March.
The initiative will be supporting Care For Kids North Devon, That Foodbank in South Devon and the Exeter City Community Trust, with further partners to be announced shortly.
Donations can be dropped off at a variety of locations from February 23rd through to March 27th. All of the Easter eggs will be distributed by the charities, ensuring that every child has something special this Easter.
Chris French emphasised the strength of community ahead of the launch. He said: “Following the overwhelming support for our Christmas Toy Appeal we’re delighted to announce our Easter Egg Appeal.”
“Football is a real driver and can enact real change in the community. Teamwork and community spirit, is at the heart of this appeal and it is a wonderful way to show that spirit off the pitch.”
“A simple gift can bring such joy this Easter.”
We are also excited to be working alongside Scott Richards Solicitors on this appeal, with their offices in Newton Abbot and Teignmouth acting as drop-off locations, ensuring as many people who wish to can contribute.
